When was the last time a WWE main event scene felt like it was not focused on two top guys, or one champion with a group of less-worthy challengers? If Lesnar-Reigns II is for sure marked as the SummerSlam main event, WWE is doing a very good job putting forth the illusion that things could be going anywhere. Even then, though, people are not so convinced about the newly reported SummerSlam main event (Lesnar vs. Braun Strowman was the widely reported match prior). They are two guys who are currently outside of that core main event scene, and rightly should probably not be involved at the moment, given how packed it is already. The big promo segment between Lesnar, Reigns and Joe clearly established the stronger dynamic was between Lesnar and Joe, by far.
