Bleacher Report : declared in Shinsuke Nakamura Beats Baron Corbin via DQ at WWE Battleground 2017

Credit: WWE.comShinsuke Nakamura continued his ascent on the SmackDown Live roster Sunday at Battleground with a disqualification victory over Mr. Money in the Bank Baron Corbin. That match never occurred, though, as Nakamura went after Corbin during his entrance, resulting in WWE personnel breaking up the brawl. Corbin wasn't done with Nakamura yet, however, as he continued to make an example of the former NXT champion on SmackDown. Corbin attacked Nakamura backstage during an interview a few weeks ago, which led to a match between them the following week. Although the Japanese Superstar did manage to return later in the match, Corbin pushed both him and AJ Styles off a ladder en route to securing the briefcase.

Owens was able to get the pin as a groggy referee appeared to miss that Styles had his shoulder off the ground.

Aiden English Beats Tye Dillinger at WWE Battleground 2017
Aiden English ended his losing streak against Tye Dillinger on Sunday night, as he defeated his rival at Battleground. Although he fell just short of some big wins, Dillinger was among the final competitors remaining in a Battle Royal to determine a No. English was also among Dillinger's first opponents on SmackDown Live following his elevation to the main roster on the heels of WrestleMania. Both Dillinger and English are trying to carve out their niche on SmackDown Live, and Sunday's match represented an opportunity for one of them to move in a positive direction. He also faced WWE champion Jinder Mahal in a non-title match, putting on an impressive performance before falling victim to the Modern Day Maharaja.
