Alberto Del Rio was released by WWE in September following an unsuccessful comeback run and a suspension for violating the WWE wellness policy, and he returned to Mexico to work for for Asistencia Asesoria y Administracion, where he wrestled previously as Alberto El Patron.Alberto, whose real name is Jose Alberto RodrÃguez, made headlines over the weekend after he was a no-show at AAA's Heroes Inmortales X, where he was scheduled to wrestle in the main event Sunday night.AAA released a statement afterward criticizing Rodriguez for his "lack of commitment" and claiming that he failed his Mexican fans.
