- TELE 5 in Germany will no longer be airing WWE RAW once their contract ends in March of 2017, according to a report from DWDL.de."Bild am Sonntag" first reported the news.WWE SmackDown, which airs in Germany on ProSieben Maxx, is also expected to move to a different network when their deal is up, which is also in March of 2017.

– It was previously reported that WWE will be losing their TV home in Germany in 2017.According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE produced good ratings for ProSieben Maxx, but they were net money losers because of the lack of interest from sponsors/advertisers.A large portion of the deal was based on ProSieben generating revenue from WWE, but when the WWE Network debuted in Germany back in November of 2015, that dried up.
