Daily Mail Online : reported that WWE superstar Brock Lesnar retires from UFC and MMA

The WWE superstar has informed the promotion that he has retired from the sport mixed martial arts, as first reported by MMA Fighting. UFC fans hoping that they would see Brock Lesnar in the octagon once again are in for some bad news. Lesnar was fined £200,000 and retroactively suspended for one year by USADA, meaning he would have been eligible to return to the cage this July. As a result, the former heavyweight champion has been removed from the USADA drug-testing pool, meaning he is no longer an official member of the UFC roster. 'The Beast Incarnate' is set to face the legendary Bill Goldberg in a highly-anticipated rematch at Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando on April 2.

And now following these punishments – according to MMA Fighting's Marc Raimondi, Lesnar has informed the UFC he will not return to the franchise. Despite his retirement, Lesnar would not be able to compete in an octagon anway until he served his ban. The 39-year-old has retired from the octagan after his last appearance as the co-main event at UFC 200.
